Hitching to ride: Jarmo is Jurek’s best friend from Poland (they’ve done a lot of crazy travel together in years past, including to Central Asia.) Jarmo learnt Chinese for 4 years to pursue his dream of becoming a a chef of Sichuan cusine. He is now living and studying cookery in Chengdu. And, yes, he’s the first Polish student to ever study at his univeristy!
